Welcome to Detours.us.com. Detours is a 30 minute reality information television series set in Hawaii. The show reveals how people creatively enter the grieving process to strengthen and comfort themselves due to a wide range of losses.
The Detours lens delves into the stories of different individuals, exploring the ways they each cope with loss and the processes they use to restore balance in their lives.
The show’s purpose is to share stories that reach out, inform, inspire and uplift the viewing audience so they may connect with their own grieving process. It may also be used as a tool for viewers to understand others they meet—at work, at home, at school—who are in the process of taking a new direction due to loss.
We hope to provide resources for relief and serve as a lighted signpost rising above a darkened street that marks a turning point for many who don’t know where to go. Detours will offer the inspiration to motivate individuals to seek answers and assistance, if needed, to ease the suffering and oftentimes overwhelming issues that arise with all forms of loss.
